Publisher’s Book Hits Amazon #1 Best Seller Status in Multiple Categories
Kristen Eckstein created the “21 Ways” series to be “an action-packed book series designed for the busy lifestyle.” She was pleasantly surprised when the fourth book of the series, 21 Ways to Make Money Speaking by author Felicia Slattery hit Amazon’s #1 Best Seller list in the categories of: Public Speaking, General Communication, Meetings & Presentations and Phonetic & Phonics.
“I started this series to get my own books published quickly – because I had too many ideas,” says Eckstein. “I had no idea it would become so popular that we’d start publishing other authors under a traditional label and that one of the first authors’ books would hit the best seller list right away. Hitting one category in one day is easy. Maintaining it in two is difficult, and four is, well, I’m excited!”
Eckstein’s publishing company Imagine! Books officially opened the “21 Ways” series to author submissions in February of 2012 under their imprint of Discover! Books. Authors may click here to apply to be a “21 Ways” author.
21 Ways to Make Money Speaking is Felicia Slattery’s second book, her first for the “21 Ways” series. It may be purchased at Amazon.com or other fine retailers.
New Survey Helps Aspiring Non-Fiction Authors Determine Goals
A new survey conducted by publishing expert Kristen Eckstein will help aspiring non-fiction authors determine their goals for their book. The quick survey will help these authors think about how a book will impact their business, identify frustrations they may have in getting a book into prospects’ hands and envision the title of their book.
“Many aspiring authors do not know exactly why they want to write a book,” says Eckstein. “These questions are strategic to get aspiring non-fiction authors to determine their goals and the impact their book will have on growing their business.”
In addition to enlightening themselves on their book’s potential, each aspiring author to fill out the survey will receive a FREE digital PDF copy of Kristen’s book, 21 Ways to Write & Publish Your Non-Fiction Book and the chance to receive special gifts by mail. The survey can be filled out at JumpstartMyBook.com.
